I would have grabbed one if I had any plans to build a desktop. I can’t afford to build a solid gaming pc so there’s no real point in buying an ssd now.

Yep, as I forked over < $150 for a 960GB drive today I marvelled at the fact that 2.5 years ago I paid nearly three times that for a 750GB (and that was a pretty solid deal at the time).
Of course now I probably need to buy a new spinning disk for backups...
